Meet Tig
Hi, I'm Tig.
Enter a written shop specification — product type, labeled dimensions, member sizes, spacing, layout, and components — and I'll apply the recognized values to an editable ODP drawing.
Tig does not determine code requirements or replace your review. Specify the exact values you want drawn and verify the result before fabrication.

What Tig does
A prompt-based way into the same Designer controls.
Everything Tig draws lands on a real, editable design you can inspect, refine by hand, or update with another specific request.
Designs from a description
Give Tig an exact gate, fence, or handrail specification and watch it apply recognized dimensions, pickets, rails, posts, and components to the canvas.
Refines what's there
“Make it 6 inches taller.” “Switch to twisted pickets.” “Add a camelback arch.” Tig edits your current design instead of starting over — and you can undo any change.
Switches the whole layout
Ask for a slide gate, a swing gate, a fence panel, or a stair handrail and Tig sets up the right structure for you.
Answers your questions
Tig knows the whole app — where a control lives, why a download is locked, how pricing and the free trial work. Ask from any page and Tig knows where you are.
Uses supported Designer settings
Tig can set many existing Designer options from recognized shop terms. If a detail is unsupported or positioned visually, finish it with the manual controls.
Keeps you in control
Tig speeds up setup; it does not engineer or approve the design. Check the dimensions and details, then correct them with a specific prompt or by hand.
Where to find Tig
Always one question away.
On the homepage
Start a design before you even sign up — type into the ask-bar and Tig draws it on the spot.
In the designer
Tig sits right at the top of the configuration panel, expanded and ready, so you can build and refine as you go.
Everywhere else
On every other page Tig is a quick ask-bar for help and how-to — always one question away.

Why “Tig”?
Tig is named for TIG welding — the clean, precise process behind so much great ornamental iron. He's a TIG torch come to life: hard hat on, spark in hand, ODP badge on his chest, and always ready to get to work.
He only talks shop. Ask Tig about gates, fences, handrails, and how to use Ornamental Designer Pro and he's all in. Ask him about the weather and he'll politely steer you back to the drawing.
